Josie Melano is a Los Angeles-based makeup artist known for her flawless celebrity glam and creative skill. With 10+ years of experience, she is highly-sought after by top creative teams, fashion brands, and talent in music and entertainment.
From the age of 13, Josie knew that she wanted to be in the beauty industry; she collected Vogue magazines as her sole inspiration, in order to replicate the most striking editorial and red carpet looks. She gained early experience in retail beauty (Fred Segal) and fashion shows, where she honed her incredible attention to detail, precision technique, and confident creative eye. She went on to teach others as lead instructor at Ono Beauty Makeup School (founded by Priscilla Ono, makeup artist to Rihanna and Global Makeup Artist for Fenty Beauty). She landed her first celebrity gig as an assistant for Rihanna’s ‘S&M’ Music Video, and has since built an enviable roster of high-profile clients.
